When both the bride and the groom have attended the U of A and also met there, it's a very good possibility that their wedding photos will take place in an area that has so many fond memories. For Tyler and Kristen one of their favorite areas was the arts building. As a photographer it has everything that we could every want in a photo. Astonishing architecture, an abundance of green space, a quaint little stream and the most important part for a summer wedding, shade and benches. Most weddings we photograph, someone is wearing uncomfortable shoes and those benches are a welcome relief from them being on their feet all day. The only issues is accessing this area is a bit of a trek. We recommend parking at the Hub for a shorter route to get there. This image may just look like a couple walking but we help them with very detailed posing tips to try and make it look as natural as possible. We ask the bride to cross her legs all the way over to create a nice curve in the hips. The grooms direction is to imagine a tight rope and just place one foot in front of the other. The relaxed hands is another huge detail that can be overlooked. As you can see everything came together perfectly for this photo.
