Edmonton has been and will always be a winter city. So why not get out and enjoy the winter with an engagement session. We have a few locations that we love to use but before we suggest them we like to get to know people a little. What do you enjoy doing in your free time, how did you meet, do you prefer nature, urban, or rustic backgrounds? Once we have answers to these questions we can help narrow down a location that works best for you.
For this couple they wanted to combine their love of skating with some modern architecture. Our suggestion was the Alberta Legislative Building as they have a nice skating rink of the south side of the grounds.
For people that prefer nature and lots of trees my favourite location is the Devon River Valley. It is definitely a hidden gem as most people use Edmonton. I have found that Devon is a much nicer option as you can get right down to the river quite easily and its not that far to park. It really helps on those frigid winter days when lots of warm up breaks are necessary.
Another one of our favourite winter locations is the Mill Creek Ravine. It is filled with wooden bridges and a great extent of trees. If you have a dog the ravine is even better as its also a dog park.
Location: Edmonton Legislative Building .
